'We know what's coming' - All Blacks preparing for furious Boks' response

The All Blacks are preparing for a very different South African side in Wellington, and they are not pretending otherwise.

After the narrow Eden Park win, players spoke openly about what history suggests comes next. A wounded Springboks team travelling to a second Test is one of the more predictable forces in world rugby, and the message inside the camp was that the response would be furious.

The focus was on the areas that decided the first Test by fine margins: the aerial contest, discipline at the breakdown and the ability to absorb pressure in the final quarter without conceding cheap penalties.

Coaches were also blunt that a repeat performance would not be enough. South Africa adjust quickly between Tests, and the All Blacks expect the collision area to be the first place that shows.
